Crocs Partner With Christian Cowan On Hottest Limited Edition Collaboration Of The Season

Published

In the last year we’ve seen the resurgence of the Crocs, making their controversial comeback since their launch 20 years ago. With many jumping back on the old school trend, and others still questioning whether they’re ready for their style to time travel backwards, this season Crocs are switching up their normal as they join forces with renowned fashion designer, Christian Cowan. And yes, it’s official, Crocs are fashionable!

Debuting an all-new collaboration, showcasing the classic Croc styles through the vibrant lens of fashion innovator, we welcome three show-stopping styles that ooze unique unexpectedness, through their materials, colours and textures. Love your Jibbitz? Well, for the first time ever, this collaboration’s set of charms can be converted into other wearable accessories such as necklaces and hair clips – customisation has never been so good!

Leading the line-up is the Mega Crush Clog, standing at 61mm tall, this enhanced bold silhouette reaches new heights as it speaks everything attitude and expression. It’s all black design sports the custom Christian Cowan Jibbitz charms, for that versatile high glamour vibe, and detachable metallic chains (which can also be worn as a necklace btw!) – we just have to get our hands on these!

The Classic Clogs get a harmonious and monochromatic makeover this season as the left clog arrives in black and the right in white, an ode to yin and yang. With contrasting black and white backstraps (aka sports mode, iykyk) these styles prove that opposites really do attract. Completed by being adorned with jewelled accents, metallic chains and of course, the collaborative Jibbitz, this pair’s dynamic design synergy will have you ready to conquer any day.

Staying true to his brand of marrying creativity with modernity, the bubble gum pink Classic Sandals take a fresh and playful route on the open-toe style. With a twin-strap upper, to ensure you have that all day comfort, the candy-coloured shoes are adorned with an oversized pink bow (yep you guessed it, that can be worn as a statement hair clip), the ideal item to give others shoe envy!

It’s about our identity, a rebellious flamboyancy. We wanted multi- functionality JibbitzTM charms you can wear as jewelry and hair clips. Making a full look, because let’s face it, Crocs are a full look.

Christian Cowan, Fashion Designer

Working with creatives who align with our values and authenticate the brand through their own unique lens, Crocs’ Brand President, Michelle Poole described why the brand chose to partner with Cowan: “With an eye for turning classic styles into something modern and unexpected, Christian used our iconic clog and sandal silhouettes as blank canvases for self-expression, taking versatility and personalization to a bold new level.”

Celebrating the new collection, which made its first appearance on Cowan’s New York Fashion Week runway, the silhouettes in a star-studded campaign. With the likes of RuPaul’s Drag Race Michelle Visage and Simone, Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn, R&B sensation Tinashe and many more, sporting this season’s Crocs collaborative offering. What’s more, a portion of the proceeds from the Christian Cowan X Crocs collection will be donated to The Ali Forney Center, providing comfort to the LGBTQ+ community to protect homeless youth and empower them with the tools to be independent.

Now set to hit Paris Fashion Week this week, it’s time to get ready and keep your eyes peeled for the collection’s drop this Wednesday (28th) – yes, set your alarms because these are quite literally going to be hot off the runway!
