The Only Way Is Up! Cardi B’s Latest Instalment With Reebok Is Giving Next Level Energy

Joining forces once again, Reebok and rapper Cardi B have created a new collective season of footwear and apparel, living up to Cardi’s iconic and unmatched energy of course. The first of this two-part capsule ‘Let Me Be…Next Level Energy’ is giving all things colour – It’ll have you saying ‘I Like It’ to everything!

Its bold, purple-toned colour palette of periwinkle and lilac, whilst complemented with sparks of royal blue, reflect some of the Earth’s most vibrant crystals, capturing their dynamic glow and amplifying their energetic effects with their varying textures and materials. 

Launching in mid-October, the first drop introduces two new footwear silhouettes, the Club C Cardi V2 and the Cardi Slide. An exaggerated styling of the original Club C Cardi, which debuted in 2020, the upgraded shoe takes on an asymmetric vibe – a nod to the rapper’s range of different hustles – a stacked outsole and dramatic overlays bring her larger-than-life personality into the footwear itself. Arriving in Vital Blue, Ultima Purple and Puzzled Purple, these will have everyone saying, ‘She Bad’. 

Staying true to Cardi’s love for slides, the duo’s new creation takes on a bolder, more dimensional model with a puffed strap and toothy outsole, all to match her intensity – made specifically for those who want their footwear to be as extra as they are. Following the Club C Cardi V2, the slides are available in Ultima Purple and Puzzled Purple, as well as Modern Beige for those wanting a more understated, neutral look.

Although the footwear can easily steal the show, we must also highlight the expansive and inclusive apparel range that this collection brings. From fashion-forward to sporty pieces, each piece in this line embodies the artist’s energy, through eye-catching designs and contoured fits. 

The staple racer back Cardi Crop Top pairs an unexpected, asymmetrical shape with high shine fabric and ultra-fitted fit, to ensure you stay secure throughout your day’s activities. The Bodysuit sees vintage design principles with a modern twist, from its high hip and thong cutlines, to piping details that accentuate your frame. But if you’re looking for a more casual and comfortable piece, the long sleeve button down shirt style of the Cardi B Top is dressed with ruching details on the waist and sleeve, and topped off with side cut-outs, making this an ideal layering piece that can be customised to however you’d like to wear it. If you’re a bike short lover, the Legging Short might just be the one for you. Its elastic waistband and intentionally placed stitching details help create a contouring effect, paired with a high rise cut for a flattering fit – what more could we ask for?

Of course, the weather may be getting colder but who says our ‘Drip’ should stop? Hint: No one! Well, don’t worry because you can still get in on some of the action from this collection with the return of their oversized Woven Jacket, this time arriving in a cropped length. With prices ranging from $35 to $150, alike Cardi’s other collaborations with Reebok, this collection was designed with all bodies in mind as the apparel is available from 2XS to 4X.
