Get The Look: White Lines Laura Haddocks Summer Look

Published

The Ibiza set Netflix original series was a popular one during lockdown. Everyone was gripped by this murder mystery that came out in May.

Laura Haddock plays main character Zoe who is from Manchester and has travelled to Ibiza to find how her late brother died. The series consists of 10 episodes with lots of twists and turns to keep us hooked right until the end.

The series is a great summer style guide. Her style of fashion is very sophisticated, classy and simple within the series. With minimal jewellery and makeup paired with dresses and skirts that she pulled off effortlessly, making them look so glamorous.

A particularly good summer style look of Zoe’s is from episode six, where she was watching back old videos of her brother, trying to piece the story of his death.

The main statement to this outfit is the orange maxi dress. Flowing all the way down to her ankles she stunningly shows off her natural beauty. On a hanger, this kind of dress could seem plain and one that can be thrown on quite quickly. However, Zoe wore it tastefully and looked beautiful. A similar one can be found from H&M for £39.99.

Zoe’s wears a pair of Gold hoop earrings with green beaded detailing. I’ve found an alternative from Oliver Bonas. These high shine golden tone hoops feature mint green beads, which are only £12.50. An almost identical match to the ones seen on screen.

Alongside the earrings, Zoe wears a thin gold chain necklace. This necklace really ties the outfit together, the v-neckline of the dress offers a lot of space for a dainty necklace to accessorise the outfit. Astley Clarke have a similar one. The necklace includes your zodiac sign on the pendant so you can make it personal to you, which is a lovely touch. It’s priced at £75 and is gold plated, sterling silver.

To complete the look are the gladiator style sandals. You get to only see a glimpse of them but they compliment the whole outfit. We found a bargain pair at Primark for £6

Now to get that Ibiza summer glow. Institut Esthederm’s released a new Photo Reverse Tint earlier in the year, which offers full protection from the sun.

This range also includes a Bronz Repair Sunkissed cream. This is more suited to those with skin that tans easily. It provides protection from the rays and boosts your natural tan. It’s also firming cream enriched with celluar water to energise your complexion and gives you immediate glowing skin.

Photo Reverse – £55

The Photo Reverse is more suitable for people prone to burn easily. It’s a very high protection tinted cream to prevent and reduce pigmentation spots. It also evens out skin tones, hydrates your skin and prevents photo-ageing, whilst shielding from UVA/B rays, which are responsible for producing sunburn. Both creams are to be applied to your face 20 minutes before sun exposure.

Zoe didn’t wear any sunglasses with this look in the series but these Balfour shape sunglasses from Cubitts would make a great addition to this look. The brown shades tie in with the orange dress and will bring out the gold tones in the jewellery.
