CHANEL Opens A New Chapter Of Innovation & Inclusion In The Book Of Beauty

Published

Where shape meets colour and shadow meets light, at CHANEL, beauty is the story of a sacred trinity – an infinite journey that is nourished by the past, rooted in the present moment and boldly looks towards the future. Now, the luxury House is moving its cosmetics innovation forward as they launch a brand-new project, ‘Comètes Collective’.

Creating a community of emerging talents working to shape the future of beauty, this new project sees Ammy Drammeh, Cécile Paravina, and Valentina Li become the first makeup artists to join the collective. Inspired by their paths and shared passion for collaboration, this partnership offers the free flow of the experts’ creativity and authentic visions of beauty, whilst acting as an inclusive and diverse hub, opening new doors for the Makeup Creation Studio.

This month, the trio will begin to shine as they each work to expand CHANEL’s colour and shade palettes, reinterpreting icons, and reinventing their creative language – a new pioneering chapter for CHANEL Beauty – redefining the role makeup plays in our lives.

Drammeh, Paravina, and Li were individually chosen for their vibrant visions of the industry, whilst their values also resonated with those of CHANEL. Each artist will offer their independent and unique take, also creating their own seasonal collections and working as one on shared releases.

This supportive and talented community, which will only continue to grow over time, follows in the entrepreneurial footsteps of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, ‘often revolutionary and always at the service of an iconic style that defines its time.

Embarking on this exciting journey, expect to see the development of new collections (arriving in January 2024, so sit tight!) and inspiring content for makeup lovers. We look forward to seeing what this brings to the world of beauty!
