Word On The Street Is… Avirex Are Back!

Calling all streetwear fans… it’s official, Avirex have relaunched in the UK and Europe! Hosting a pop-up at London’s Boxpark in Shoreditch to commemorate their return, the brand’s event presents an offering of their newest summer collection and vintage pieces from 80’s, 90’s and 00’s collections (you had us at vintage!). But worry not if you don’t have a chance to visit the store, which is open until the end of August, because you can shop the new collection on their website! Their summer line features a range of hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts and jackets in a variety of colours ranging from orange and red to khaki green and cream! If that wasn’t tempting enough… the New York-based brand has also brought back their iconic Maverick Jacket inspired by the 1975 US military, worn and loved by celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Rihanna and Jack Harlow! Yes, yes and yes again *adds to basket*.

We Are Blocking Out The Sunshine In Style

Durable, flexible but most importantly, fashion-forward… L.G.R and Robe di Kappa have launched exclusive limited-edition sunglasses ready for the incoming heatwave. Yes, we are manifesting a nice, hot summer for ourselves this year! The collection has been inspired by L.G.R’s best selling sunglasses, the ‘Fez’ design, and customised with colours taken from Robe di Kappa’s iconic style, with the collaborations claim “Robe di Occhiali ” stamped alongside the inside of the glasses. This collaboration did not come to play either, the sunglasses are manufactured to be long-lasting and high-quality so you don’t have to compromise on quality for style. Earth Day Incoming! Levi’s Vintage Tackles The Environmental Crisis…

Levi’s Vintage takes us back to the sixties with their new collection inspired by the 1960’s campus protests against the growing environmental crisis. The new collection, hauntingly named Project Survival, features a variety of casual collegiate styles and wardrobe staples of the time, honouring the student activists who took a stand against the damage we do to our planet. Consisting of a mixture of faded tops, denim and pants in a variety of “well-worn” colours and patterns – rest assured, the line might look a little worn out, but they’re made to last! Not only are Levi’s bringing new pieces to the collection, but in true Levi’s style they are also bringing back classic iconic archival reproductions of bestselling capsule pieces all inspired by the current fight for the environment, and remembering one of the earliest movements in that fight!

Ed Sheeran + Lucky & Yak ‘=’ The Cutest Collab Ever!

Calling all Sheerios! This is some news you do not want to miss. Ed Sheeran has teamed up with Lucy & Yak to develop a sustainable capsule collection inspired by Ed’s most recent Equals album and the artwork from his Mathematics tour. The unisex collection features organic dungarees (£65), a T-shirt (£28), a Hoodie (£58) and a Bucket Hat (£22) in a colour palette of ecru and black, that will be available to purchase from the 14th July! Alongside the collection, Lucy & Yak have teamed up with an array of musicians to record their own Ed Sheeran covers in honour of the launch for a campaign film… if you aren’t counting down the days till the launch like we are, what are you doing!? The podcast celebrates the many perspectives of women, whether they be non-binary, gender non-conforming or trans-masculine… Foc It Up has left no stone unturned and we are here for the inclusivity!
