Happy Friday FROW Fam! October is finally here! This jam-packed month marks Black History Month, with its theme of Time For Change: Action Not Words, this year it’s more important than ever. We hope that you can join us in celebrating the contributions and achievements of Black people in both the UK and across the globe, not just this month but ensuring Black history is represented and celebrated every month. This is also a time to educate ourselves on how we can take action to tackle racism and reclaim Black history, in order to achieve a better and more inclusive world for everyone. The Maddenwood Universe
Well-known fashion icon, Steve Madden, is launching an exciting hypnotic reality global campaign for Autumn 2022 – a psychedelic universe known to be MADDENWOOD. A freeform world allows consumers to become whomever they want to be, wherever and whenever. Celebrities such as Tiktok superstar Bella Poarch, MTV VMA nominee and rapper Latto and Euphoria actress Chloe Cherry will be featured, giving us familiar faces alongside such an exciting concept. We’re putting on our favourite Madden’s as we speak! Not only this, the centre of the mesmerising movement features three MADDENWOOD videos from American visual artist, Andy Warhol. If You Need Us, We’ll Be “Bossing” the Denim Game This Autumn
The most anticipated fall denim collab is here, Hugo Boss x Replay has finally launched and we couldn’t be more excited! The collaboration sees the two brands bring denim to life in a capsule dedicated to self-expression, as well as a mixture of classic jersey pieces that are easy-to-wear and trend-driven – so you can be on top of your fashion game! The HUGO | Replay denim features a signature red label that blends the logos of both brands, and has been created with certified organic cotton fabrics. The drop features bits for both him and her. For him, a classic denim jacket and a workwear overshirt with matching jeans; and for her, boyfriend-fit jeans, with drop-shoulder tees and a raw-edge jacket – no, that’s not everything, but we don’t want to spoil the surprise! You’re Not Seeing Double – YZY GAP Is Back For The Sequel
YZY GAP has returned to announce part two of its creative adventure, offering outerwear and knitwear alongside redesigned essentials. The second instalment of the collection features classics engineered by Balenciaga including denim jackets, heavy fleece tees and a coated anorak topped off with a revamped all-black dry bag, of course staying true to the dark and eery colour palette in the first collection. Inspired by the “YZY vision of utilitarian design”, this is the first time that YZY GAP will be available in stores outside the US, featuring in flagship GAP Tokyo and GAP Shanghai stores. Stepping Onto The Rock and Roll Scene With Dr. Martens
Dr. Martens are saving rock’n’roll as they launch their new collab with rock band The Clash. The 46-years-in-the-making collaboration sees all the grit and determination of rock poured into a collection of music industry favourite footwear. The handcrafted pairs have been created using the same techniques as the shoes the band first wore over 40 years ago whilst stepping into fame! The shoes have been constructed from DM’s legacy leather, marked with The Clash’s logo and with every purchase you also receive a set of dog tags inspired by those worn by members of the band. Alongside the drop, Dj and musician Don Letts has also collated “The Story of The Clash in 100 Tracks” – a mixtape of the bands’ albums and solo careers, so you can truly embrace the rock and roll lifestyle with your Dr. Martens and music to match! Adidas Originals x Pharrell Williams Is Back For FW22 Serving All The Fall Feels
Pharrel Williams is back, and together with Adidas Originals, they have partnered up to launch their gender-neutral Humanrace Premium Basics Collection. This FW22, the collection is serving all of the Autumn essentials; a heavyweight jersey crafted with Better Cotton, basic tees, long sleeve tees and shorts, all available in seven colours, specially selected by Pharrell. A palette of mellow tones and outerspace names come together to create Night Grey, Halo Blue and Almost Yellow, to name a few. The designs are adorned with the signature puff-print logo and large ‘Humanrace’ chest branding on select pieces. Sizing rages from 3XS – 2XL and launches globally on September 28th, 2022 in-store and online.
It’s Day of the Girl Everyday With Monki and Plan International
We are celebrating “International Day of the Girl” in style with Monki and Plan International. The collab sees limited-edition sweatshirts designed to encourage dialogue around gender equality, with proceeds going towards Plan’s gender equality campaign #GetGirlsEqual. Here at FROW we are passionate about being yourself unapologetically, and Monki is embodying that value with their “If we don’t speak up, who will?” and “My body isn’t political” designs. Isn’t a world that’s entirely equal a world we are striving for? And this collab is opening the doors to empower women to empower the world!
Unmissable Collaboration At ZARA With Model Kaia Gerber
Global model Kaia Gerber and ZARA have joined forces to provide us with an exciting newly dropped collaboration. After launching the wardrobe of new classics last week during Paris Fashion Week, the supermodel described her newest apparel to be “everything you would ever need in your closet” and she was right! The inspiration? Coming straight from the 90s, we’re talking oversized shirts, satin bralettes and micro shorts. The colour palette includes grey, navy, white, black and camel, perfect for your everyday staples. Styled by Karl Temper and shot by French image-maker Fabien Baron, the new line is now available online and selected stores. We’re heading straight to ZARA. Are you coming?
Space Ace Fashion Touches Down at H&M
We are channelling bright, bold and beautiful for A/W 22 with H&M‘s newest lineup. Inspired by Space Age style, their “Neo Real” collection blends fashion and fantasy in the best way possible – can we all agree that we are obsessed? The sustainable range sees a variety of streamlined silhouettes with a futuristic flow that will be available from October 13th. The drop features a variety of pieces bursting with attitude; a double-breasted overcoat, fuchsia anorak, a different and more modern take on the iconic three-piece suit, sci-fi sunglasses, amongst much more!
